What are affiliate links?
An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks when a visitor clicks through and makes a purchase. If you click an affiliate link on The Writer's Reverie and buy something, we earn a small commission from the retailer — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same.
Which affiliate programs we use
The Writer's Reverie participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. We may also participate in other affiliate programs from time to time, including booksellers, writing software makers, and craft course platforms.
What we recommend
Every book, tool, or course we link to is something we have personally read, used, or taken and would recommend whether or not we earned a commission. We will never:
- Recommend a product solely because of the commission it pays
- Hide our affiliate relationship
- Promote books, tools, or courses we don't believe in
- Let affiliate revenue influence our editorial opinions
How to identify affiliate links
Affiliate links are not visually distinguished from regular links, but you can assume that any link to a book on Amazon, a writing-software maker, or a craft course platform may be an affiliate link. If you'd rather not use them, you're always welcome to search for the book or product directly on the retailer's site.
